In Denmark, creative food lovers and tech developers are working to develop solutions to save local restaurants and business from closing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The website\u00a0<\/span>Your local hero<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>was designed and built\u00a0<\/span>12 hours<\/span>, as a response to local communities coming together to support restaurants in Copenhagen, Malmo <\/strong>and Helsingbor<\/strong>g, and allows the purchase of digital gift vouchers from the restaurants. The vouchers contribute to the restaurants turnover during the lockdown, with users being able to use them once the crisis has ended. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A similar initiative has been launched in\u00a0<\/span>France<\/span><\/b>, with the website\u00a0<\/span>Save our shops<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0enabling consumers to buy vouchers from small clothes stores, small restaurants.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the\u00a0<\/span>United States<\/span><\/b>\u00a0a small start<\/span>–<\/span>up specialis<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0in custom photo experiences decided to launch a project that could save them from\u00a0<\/span>crashing<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0help other local business around the country stay above wate<\/span>r.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keep your city smiling<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span>an<\/span>\u00a0online platform\u00a0<\/span>that\u00a0<\/span>displays boxes that gather products from\u00a0<\/span>various<\/span>\u00a0cit<\/span>ies<\/span>\u2019 (LA, Seattle, Portland, San Francisc<\/span>o<\/span>) local businesses. The direct-to-consumer initiative offers small\u00a0<\/span>companies<\/span>\u00a0good exposure and precious support to face the current struggle.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
