Ivan Trojan unveils Czech Railways’ new InterJet service

Czech Railways has introduced 115 new, super-modern InterJet railway cars. These are among the most comfortable in Europe, thanks to a host of new features and on-board amenities.

Ivan Trojan, this time in the guise of a wheeltapper, appears to hijack a news crew who have been sent to cover the unveiling of the new carriages. He proceeds to give and lively and comprehensive overview of the new service. Amongst other advantages of the new carriages, he effuses about the newly designed interior, adjustable seats, wireless charging stations and windows that have been designed to allow for a better mobile signal.

Notably, and in line with Czech Railways’ green sensibilities, the whole production was realised in line with the so-called “Green Filming” guidelines.

The environmental footprint of the film industry is the highest during the film shoot itself, and “Green Filming” tries to establish a framework to reduce the environmental impact to a minimum, without slowing down the crew’s work.

The creative concept of this campaign was taken care of by the Havas agency, produced by Total Help Art and directed by Ondřej Trojan.

For this case, the energy consumption of the exercise was estimated, and in cooperation with ofsetujemeCO2, the CO2 footprint was offset via a contribution to the Svoboda Sady project park located in the Bohemian Paradise.
