Trojan makes friend with Japanese travellers on the way to Krumlov

Hey guys, it’s summer, and you know what that means – Czech Railways’ discount tickets for groups.

If you haven’t already joined a group, why not come and join Ivan Trojan and his newfound friends in a cheeky new communication campaign for the Service.

Trojan plays a tramp / travelling woodsman who befriends a group of Japanese tourists on their way to the beautiful Český Krumlov. In a somewhat eclectic cultural exchange he offers them a drink made from pine needles and calls upon them to join him in singing a traditional campfire song.

Naturally, hilarity ensues.

Joining Trojan in the spot as the Japanese travellers, are well known members of the Plzeň Philharmonic Orchestra, violinist Maja Ichikawa and conductor Chuhei Iwasaki, who was also featured in the radio ads. Bonsai sake is the drink featured in the TV commercial.

The campaign was directed by Ondřej Trojan, and is extended into all the usual media suspects. As always, the film itself was produced in a sustainable manner.
