Havas Events paints the town (orange) for Continental.
150 years in business is no small feat. So when the Continental plant in Brandýs Nad Labem – a leader in automotive display technologies – celebrated its century-and-a-half milestone, they invited the whole town to enjoy the moment with them.
Continental has always made a point of being active in the community and is often one of the biggest employers wherever it does business. The 150-year celebration served not only to recognise the anniversary, but also to acknowledge and honour the people who live and work in the town.
The festivities took place in the main town square, with twenty local vendors taking part and keeping party-goers happy with over 4000 bottles of beer, 4600 glasses of svařák and 900 stick of cotton candy.
During the day, the band Kašpárek v rohlíku were there to entertain the kids, with Monkey Business taking over once the sun went down.
There was also an exhibition of Continental’s technological development through the years, with interactive VR displays and a peak into the future of automation, with Cobot, the collaborative robot that is part of the factory workflow.
Havas Events team pulled out all the stops, organising the event for more than 3 000 visitors in just nine days.
