Enjoy night trips by train

Going abroad with your family can be tricky. A new campaign for České dráhy, starring Ondřej Vetchý, explores the humorous side of travel, and makes a few recommendations along the way.

Our story follows a Czech family on holiday in Slovakia. Rather than travel in comfort on the train, however, they have opted to travel by car.

As the journey progresses we find our family waking up one morning in their car. Clearly they are far from comfortable – and the juxtaposition between the cramped circumstances of the car and the luxuriousness of the train makes a strong point about the advantages of train travel.

Continuing in a humorous vein the dad, played by Ondřej Vetchý, and his wife, try to talk to a Slovak police officer in rather bad Slovakian. As you can imagine, this doesn’t quite work out as planned.

The spot was shot on one day, using internal resources. It will be released as 60”, 30” and 10” versions for TV and web.

The campaign was released in the media on 1 October 2019 and supported by print and outdoor.
